Nawti crooner, Olu Maintain has stated that Nigerian musicians have unarguably experienced a lot of growth but little development.

He stated this during a Saturday breakfast show on Channels TV.

Olumide Adegbolu emphasised on the benefit of development in the music industry saying “growth without development is like building a house with a pack of cards.”

Olu who shot his way into fame with his first single ‘Yahoozee’ disclosed that he developed his talent in school.

The 36-year-old singer further disclosed that he got the name “Maintain’ “by maintaining a particular trouser and shirt from Monday to Friday while in school.”

Olu Maintain is currently working on a single with Oliva (the former first lady of G-Unit) titled Hypnotise.
